Alternative Dispute Resolution Activities

Throughout the course of her over 40 years of practice, over 30 of those spent as a mediator and arbitrator, Susan has been involved in a range of alternative dispute resolution (ADR)-related and other legal activities. Weekly volunteer at Ronald McDonald House, a home away from home for families with children being treated at a Texas Medical Center institution

Volunteer Ombudsman since 2002 with ESGR, Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve, a Department of Defense agency – mediate cases between employers and employees concerning employment issues that arise due to employee’s military service. On October 15, 2005, in Washington, D.C., named the 2005 Ombudsman of the Year for the entire United States by the National Committee of ESGR, for impacting the lives of our military, their families, and our employers
